Hi, I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP ME. My cousin is living in Canada for the past 10 years, she is 32 years of age, married with 4 kids. She was invited by a couple she knows and had been drugged and raped and left at her door step the next day. She has already reported the issue to the Police and wanted to know if there is anything else she need to do to get help and put these criminals away for life. They are Canadian Citizens and do not deserve to live in Canada as they do give Canada a bad name. I kindly request someone to help me guide her through this terrible momment. THank you all...

We'll screen a film excerpt from NO!: A Rape Documentary, an AfroLez
Production, followed by a Q&A with creator Aishah Shahidah Simmons. Winner of both a juried award and an audience choice award at the 2006 San Diego Women Film Festival, this ground-breaking feature length documentary
explores the international reality of rape and other forms of sexual assault through the first person testimonies, scholarship, spirituality, and activism of African-Americans.

AND: An Excerpt from MOVEMENT FROM THE MARGINS Choreography by Sheena S. Johnson, Misia Denea written by Davina Stewart.

Movement From the Margins (MFM) is a multi-media piece that serves as a truth-telling account of the post-Katrina World. From the shores of western Africa to gulf coast of Louisiana and Mississippi our people have continually been displaced, demeaned and dehumanized in this land. MFM is an artist's response to the state sanctioned violence that occurred throughout the gulf coast following Katrina. We will see a brief excerpt of this program performed by Misia Denea from INCITE! Philadelphia .

The New Orleans Women's Health Clinic is a grassroots community-based non-profit women's health clinic operated by a radical, women of color-led, feminist health collective. The New Orleans Women's Health Clinic is the
first project launched by the New Orleans Women's Health & Justice
Initiative. The Initiative was formed in the aftermath of Hurricane
Katrina, through the organizing efforts of INCITE! New Orleans and local health care practitioners and organizers challenging the social invisibility of women of color and poor women experiences, vulnerabilities, and health
care needs.

The mission of the Clinic is to equip women with the means to control and care for their own bodies, sexuality, reproduction, and health by providing quality, affordable, and safe health care services through a holistic, community-centered, well-woman approach to health care which integrates sexual health and reproductive justice. Clinic services include well-woman gynecological care, sexual health care, prenatal, chronic disease screening, counseling and education services. The Clinic hours of operation are Monday & Thursdays from 11:00am - 3:00pm, and on Tuesday & Wednesdays from 10:00am - 6:00pm. Currently, medical and health services are provided primarily on Tuesday and Wednesdays. For an appointment, call 504-524-8255.

I was sexually molested when I was 11 years old. I am now 21 and this memory that I thought I had put behind me has come back to haunt me. it has ruined my life and will continue to do so unless I stand up and do something about it!

I would like to know if there is a time frame in which legal action can be taken. I cannot forget about this, and would like to know how I can go about taking legal action. Is it to late?

Pls bare in mind that I live in South Africa and although this man is a South African he has emmigrated to England. Please help me. I need advise.

Signed enough is enough!

I also have Judge Rosenfield. He isn't acting in the best interest of kids from what I've seen. He refused to honor ANY of the mediator recommendations. Despite the fact that his dad is an abusive drunk. Despite all the proof I have, Rosenfield will not let me present it without a lawyer.

Since I don't have seven grand, I don't have a lawyer=Judge Rosenfield won't listen or let me present any type of case. I am now wondering if there is a higher up that those of us with Rosenfield on our cases can complain to. Anyone know?

I've created a message board for those of us who have been thru abuse or know someone who has. I hope those that come to this page will take a look and stay a while at the new board.

The address is:

My child custody hearing was cancelled and dropped after the 7th continuance. Which was yet another form of abuse by the opposing counsel, and the system. It took 2 years to get to trial and over $100K.
Although D.V. by Father was proven and documented Judge Rosenfield has Father as primary custodial "in the best interest of the child". The Custody Evaluator did not believe the DV until she spoke to collaterals, per testimony.
She ordered a 52 wk DV program for Dad and he was not ordered to participate by Judge Rosenfield.
Judge Rosenfield refused to hear or order the Custody Evaluator's recommended time share.
The Father has thwarted my every attempt to see my child that I was primary care giver of for 12 1/2 yrs. I sought counseling to give me the self-esteem needed to leave, and a death threat did the rest. All attempts to get the help needed for my daughter's escape have fallen on deaf ears.
Our child has been deemed shut-down, and her reality is impaired. As her Mom I have had no parenting time since 09/06/04 although I have joint 50/50 legl/phy custody on paper.
The SoCoFamilyLaw Sup.Ct. embraces brainwashing, and is guilty of continual abuse by not making Father accountable and order that he co-parent with me.
If you have been totally alienated from your child, and admonished by the system for being your child's advocate please contact me. I am interested in hearing from other victims of the system whether male or female.
My former child became Dad's next victim, and the current system enables the abuser to abuse, thus enforcing substitution of the co-dependent that became independent via his next victim, the child.

To all whom care about the chlidren in Sonoma County
The nightmere began when my daughter started having breathing problems and taken to the ER as a toddler. Father has told Judge Rosenfield he dosent believe a child should take medication with steriods. (6) County officals all know that Dad "sometimes" dosent fallow (4) Doctors (12) pages of writtrn instructions
on how to medicate a child with moderate to severe asthma, yet non of these "mandated reporters" create or accept accountability instead because I push for action so that my daughter is not ill for long peroids of time like when she was sick consistantly from 1/25/06 through 8/01/06 coughing so hards she often vommited in her own bed,or have to be taken to the ER as on 2/2/07 again after Dads visitation the courts have turnned on me and made me the problem. The Judge has made sure that the neglector in my case has NEVER had ANY accountability. The very day the judge gave more time father did not give medications as perscribed. Just today The Sonoma County D.A.s office gave me the run around about what they could do and not do..... it amounted they couldn't nor wouldn't do anything. If your child is suffering because meedications are not being administered as a Doctor has ordered. Please contact me.Let's stand united for our chlidren!
